Dev’s film Khadaan might be released by the end of this year. He and Jisshu Sengupta will be seen together again after Zulfiqar. The story centres around them. Now, some more updates came about the film. The film's songs are being recorded. Rathijit Bhattacharjee went to Mumbai for this. 

Dev posted a photo on his Instagram Story on Saturday and asked his fans whether they were ready for the biggest update of the year. However, he did not divulge anything else. On the other hand, Rathijit Bhattacharjee left the shooting of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and went to Mumbai. He posted his photo standing in front of Yash Raj Studio and wrote 'Stay tuned...something amazing is on the way.' He also did not divulge anything else. In an interview with Anandabazar Online, Rathijit confirmed that he recorded a song at the studio. While he composed the song, Ritam Sen penned the lyrics. 

It remains to see which update Dev gives. The film's director Soojit Dutta does not want to comment anything about the film. It has also been reported a few days back that this winter, Dev's film directed by Abhijit Sen will not be released--a break from the past three years' tradition. Khadan will be released at that time.
