Keerthy Suresh tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Antony Thattil last month and made her Hindi film debut with Baby John. But recently, she found herself in a strange situation when her team had a bit of a clash with a paparazzo in Mumbai. Here’s the scoop.

Team Keerthy Suresh had a tense encounter with a paparazzo

On Thursday night, just a day before Baby John's release, Keerthy showed up at the film's premiere in Mumbai rocking a saree. After the screening, as she was getting into her car with a swarm of paparazzi around her, her team noticed one photographer snapping shots from what they thought was an inappropriate angle.

The paparazzo who shared the video on Instagram insisted it was all just a 'misunderstanding.' In the clip, as Keerthy was entering her car, you could hear a paparazzo calling out to her while taking pictures.

Then, a member of Keerthy's team stepped in, saying, “Why are you taking pictures like that? She’s getting in, right? Why are you capturing such an awkward angle? Just don’t take photos as she gets in the car.”

When Keerthy caught wind of what was going on, she looked taken aback and even checked to make sure her outfit was okay. She raised her hand to say something but was ushered away. The paparazzo, however, didn’t appreciate the team’s comments and shot back, “Don’t talk to me like that, are you new here?”

Future projects ahead

Keerthy has had a busy year, appearing in Tamil movies like Siren and Raghu Thatha. She also lent her voice to a droid named Bujji in the Telugu film Kalki 2898 AD. Making her Hindi debut, she took part in Baby John, which is a remake of the Tamil hit Theri, featuring Varun Dhawan. Coming up, she’s set to star in the Tamil films Revolver Rita and Kannivedi.
