Varun Dhawan is making headlines across the Indian cinema space as he prepares to release the highly anticipated Indian series Citadel: Honey Bunny, part of the international Citadel franchise. This show has been creating buzz for some time, with Dhawan and the series’ creators, Raj & DK, actively promoting it. Recently, the trio appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16, which turned into a lively and memorable episode.

Amid the festive energy celebrating the upcoming show release, a major highlight emerged: Varun Dhawan publicly shared his daughter's name for the very first time.

Varun Dhawan Reveals Daughter’s Name

For those who may not know, Varun and his wife, Natasha Dalal, welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on June 3, 2024. The couple has been thoroughly enjoying their journey as new parents. While Dhawan has spoken about adjusting to fatherhood and shared a heartfelt Father’s Day note, they had so far kept their daughter’s name private. That changed during the recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

On the show, Dhawan enjoyed a fun-filled conversation with directors Raj & DK and Amitabh Bachchan, discussing work-life balance, family, and his daughter. He revealed he had written a poem for his little girl, sharing the first line: “There was a bunny named La ra ra ra.” Then, almost inadvertently, he revealed her name, saying, “Her name is Lara.”

In a touching exchange, Amitabh Bachchan noted, “This Diwali must be special for you with Goddess Lakshmi herself arriving at your home.” Dhawan replied, “We named her Lara. I’m still learning to connect with her; as you said, everything changes when a baby comes home.” Bachchan then offered advice, saying, “Keep your wife happy. If she’s content, everything else will fall into place.”
