Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 premiered on television and streaming on August 12, 2024. Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, the quiz show returned with a new edition and fresh changes in the format. So far, only three episodes of KBC 16 have aired on TV. Ahead of the fourth episode premiere, the makers dropped a heartwarming yet hilarious promo of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. It features a contestant from Jabalpur stating that he considers the legendary actor as God.

Sony TV dropped a new promo of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 on Instagram. It begins with Amitabh Bachchan introducing us to a new contestant named Ram Kishor Pandit from Jabalpur. He gets a chance to be on the hot seat and play the quiz. 

The contestant tells the KBC 16 host that he considers two people as 'bhagwaan': his father and the legendary Bollywood actor. To this, Big B says, "Hey bhagwaan!" The contestant further tells Sr Bachchan that he dreamt about him every night and only wished to meet him. The promo ends with Big B joking that he will surely dream about him at night.

Sharing the promo on Instagram, the makers wrote, "Aa rahe hai AB ke bade fan, Ram Kishor Pandit, Jabalpur se! Dekhiye KaunBanegaCrorepati, Mon-Fri, raat 9 baje sirf SonyEntertainmentTelevision par (sic)." The episodes of KBC 16 also stream on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium from Monday to Friday at 9 pm.

A day ago, Amitabh Bachchan shared a tweet on X about Kaun Banega Crorepati contestants. The senior actor penned, "T 5102 - the lives and stories of some of the contestants on KBC - filled with extreme emotion ! But their courage and determination so inspiring (sic)."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Big B was last seen in filmmaker Nag Ashwin's sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD. He essayed the character of Ashwatthama in the blockbuster movie. The veteran actor was seen alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan in the film.
