Actors Katrina Kaif, Raveena Tandon, her daughter Rasha Thadani, and Abhishek Banerjee took part in various religious festivities at the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. News agency ANI posted multiple videos and photos of the stars doing aarti and enjoying the evening bhajan on their X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday.

Katrina Kaif was spotted at a bhajan during the Mahakumbh

Katrina was spotted in a video, grinning and enjoying a bhajan led by Swami Chidanand Saraswati, the President of Parmarth Niketan Ashram. She wore a saffron outfit and sat on the floor, gently clapping along to the devotional tune. Her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal, was by her side.

Raveena Tandon belted out a song while Rasha cheered her on, sitting right next to her mom. Abhishek Banerjee was spotted hanging out with the other devotees too. In another video, all the stars gathered with Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati to do aarti at the Mahakumbh.

Katrina and Veena were seen at Kalina Airport after coming back to Mumbai from Prayagraj.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati shared his thoughts with ANI about the massive turnout of devotees, including celebrities, at the Mahakumbh. He said, "Mahakumbh is all about snan, dhyan, and daan—taking a holy dip, meditating, and giving to charity. Today, Katrina Kaif participated by taking a holy dip, meditating, and doing annadaan. She believes that she sees God in everyone, and that kind of belief is what keeps our nation thriving."

He also expressed his support for PM Modi's views, praising CM Yogi Adityanath for the excellent arrangements. "This Mahakumbh is all about vyavastha, arthvyavastha, and astitva—organization, economy, and identity. It's open to everyone, and those who haven't come yet should definitely visit and take a holy dip," he added.

Celebrities at Mahakumbh

As per updates from the Information Department of the Uttar Pradesh government, around 630 million people had made their way to the sacred site by Sunday. On Monday morning, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar enjoyed a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

The historic Mahakumbh 2025 is wrapping up soon, with the final big bathing event scheduled for February 26, which falls on Mahashivratri.
