Actor Katrina Kaif has joined the esteemed group of celebrities participating in the ongoing Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, accompanied by her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal. The actor expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to partake in this significant event.

On Monday, Katrina was seen at the Parmarth Niketan, where she sought blessings from spiritual leaders Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati. She wore an exquisite ethnic outfit, featuring a lovely powder pink suit that enhanced her graceful presence. Her mother-in-law complemented her look in a blue suit.

This visit represented a meaningful occasion for bonding between Katrina and her mother-in-law as they embraced the spiritual atmosphere of the Maha Kumbh.

In a conversation with ANI, Katrina remarked, “I feel very fortunate to be here this time. I am truly happy and thankful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and received his blessings. I am just beginning my experience here. I appreciate the energy, beauty, and significance of everything. I look forward to spending the entire day here."

The Mahakumbh Mela commenced on January 13, 2025, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and is scheduled to conclude on February 26. Numerous devotees have gathered at the Triveni Sangam—the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers—to partake in the holy dip, seeking spiritual purification and ‘Moksha’.

A variety of Bollywood celebrities, including Akshay Kumar and Chris Martin, have also attended the Maha Kumbh 2025, joining the multitude of devotees and spiritual seekers. Earlier, Katrina’s husband, Vicky Kaushal, visited the mela while promoting his film, Chhaava, which is performing well at the box office. Other notable attendees include Esha Gupta, Vijay Deverakonda, and Hema Malini.
