Liam Payne's late girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, honoured his memory with a touching video tribute. Reports indicate that she recently shared a compilation video on TikTok, showcasing nostalgic moments of the couple together. The video features a selection of old clips accompanied by Mazzy Star's 1993 track, Fade Into You, as the background music.

The footage depicted Liam and Kate Cassidy engaging in playful activities within their home, dancing in the living room, interacting affectionately with a dog, and posing together at Disneyland. Additionally, they were observed enjoying pizza in the kitchen, watching a soccer match, sledging down a snowy hill, sharing a kiss, and dining at a restaurant. In one segment of the video, Liam humorously pulled Kate along by her feet, and they also participated in a bowling outing.

In the video, Kate gently stroked Liam's face and remarked, "You appear breathtaking." Liam was depicted sketching Kate on paper, with his phone positioned beside him. Additionally, he was shown lifting Kate while they were indoors. The clip also featured Liam peacefully sleeping next to Kate. The post concluded with the couple sharing a kiss and an embrace. Kate included the caption, "I love you."

Liam and Kate were in a romantic relationship before his passing on October 16. They had been together for a duration of two years. Two days following Liam's death, Kate took to Instagram Stories to express her feelings for the first time. She expressed gratitude to her followers for the "kind words and love" that had been directed towards her.

"I have been utterly lost. The events of the past few days have felt surreal. I request your understanding and patience as I seek to process this privately. Liam, my angel, you meant everything to me. I want you to know that my love for you was unconditional and complete. I will carry that love with me for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam," she wrote. Liam's death occurred as a result of a fall from the third-floor balcony of his hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

About Liam's career

Liam was previously a member of One Direction, alongside Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson. The group was established in 2010 when the five young men auditioned for The X-Factor as individual performers and were subsequently united by Simon Cowell, a judge on the program. Following the band's disbandment in 2016, Liam pursued a career as a solo artist.
