Kartik Aaryan achieved significant success in 2024 with the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The actor became part of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise with its second film, and both recent entries in this horror-comedy series performed admirably at the box office. Nevertheless, Aaryan acknowledges that there are advantages and disadvantages to participating in franchise films. In a discussion with Man's World India, he elaborated on the reasons behind the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa.

During the interview, Kartik Aaryan highlighted that one of the primary benefits of engaging in such films is the pre-existing connection audiences have with the franchise. He believes this aspect enhances the overall excitement. Aaryan noted that characters often become iconic, cultivating a dedicated fanbase that eagerly anticipates their return.

Addressing the challenges, Kartik stated, "The most significant challenge is the pressure to meet or surpass those expectations, but I thrive on that challenge." He further explained the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa by asserting, "I believe franchises like Bhool Bhulaiyaa have thrived by remaining true to their core essence while incorporating new elements. The combination of horror, comedy, and nostalgia resonates with both long-time fans and new viewers."

Kartik Aaryan on dealing with failures

When asked about his approach to failures, Kartik emphasized the importance of learning and moving forward. He considers this mindset essential for managing aspects beyond his control.

"As an actor, I ensure that I give my utmost to the script and the role I have been assigned; the rest is ultimately in the audience's hands, and no one can dictate that outcome. Regarding criticism, I am open to constructive feedback and will always learn from it, but I believe that unhelpful comments do not warrant attention," Kartik remarked.

On the professional front, Kartik is set to appear in Anurag Basu's upcoming film, the title of which has yet to be disclosed. He is also involved in projects titled Tu Teri Main Tera and Main Tera Tu Meri.
