In a recent interview with Filmfare, he addressed the issue of nepotism and the opportunities he believes it has denied him, while also expressing his acceptance of the situation.

Reflecting on his distinctive journey, Kartik acknowledged the existence of nepotism, stating, "It exists." He noted that while it is prevalent in the film industry where he works, it is also a factor in various other fields. He recognized that his path has been singular, and he does not hold resentment towards those born into film families, suggesting that he might have experienced similar advantages had he been in their position. Therefore, he does not consider it their fault.

When questioned about the emotional impact of missed opportunities, Kartik shared that he has never had the chance to work with some of the most esteemed filmmakers until recently, following the success of films that grossed substantial amounts. He emphasized that such collaborations were previously unattainable for him.

Kartik Aaryan's perspective on unfair comparisons

Kartik further asserted that it is unjust to compare the journeys of different actors due to the inherent disparities in their circumstances. He remarked that evaluating an actor's career is not a fair practice, especially since the prominent directors and production houses that were influential at the start of his career are not part of his experience. He posed a thought-provoking question: "If he had also worked with them, would he have achieved the same success I have?"

In conclusion, Kartik articulated that making comparisons is unreasonable when the circumstances are not equal. Nevertheless, he finds it challenging to assign blame to others. He has chosen to embrace his experiences, feeling that they have contributed positively to his growth. While he acknowledges the presence of many talented individuals, he recognizes that only a few manage to capitalize on the opportunities presented to them.
