Actors Kartik Aaryan, Sreeleela, and director Anurag Basu, who are currently filming in Sikkim for their upcoming project, recently had an audience with Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang at his official residence. According to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office released on Wednesday, the CM conveyed his best wishes to the film team.

During their meeting on Tuesday evening, the Chief Minister also presented traditional gifts as a gesture of appreciation for selecting Sikkim as their filming location. He assured the team of the state government's ongoing support to facilitate the smooth progress of their project.

Anurag Basu expressed gratitude on behalf of his team, thanking the Chief Minister for his encouragement and recognizing the assistance provided by the state government.

How Kartik, Sreeleela reacted after meeting Sikkim CM

In response to their meeting with the Chief Minister, Kartik Aaryan remarked on the warmth and support they experienced from the local community, particularly during outdoor filming sessions. He also expressed his gratitude to the Sikkim Police for ensuring the team's safety, which allowed them to work without interruptions.

Sreeleela shared her admiration for Sikkim’s stunning scenery, vibrant culture, and traditions. She conveyed her excitement, stating that these elements made her inaugural visit to the northeastern state truly unforgettable.

The Chief Minister of Sikkim posted a photograph on X (formerly Twitter) featuring the film crew. In the image, Kartik is dressed in a white T-shirt, a brown jacket, and denim jeans, while Sreeleela is seen in a striking red outfit. Anurag is attired in a red shirt paired with denim. The accompanying caption stated, "It was a pleasure to host Bollywood director Shri Anurag Basu and esteemed actors Mr. Kartik Aaryan and Ms. Sreeleela at my official residence, Mintokgang."

"They have been in Sikkim for a week, filming their upcoming project at notable sites such as MG Marg and Tsomgo Lake. The team of the untitled film has been engaged in shooting in Gangtok and its nearby locations, including Tsomgo Lake and MG Marg, for the past week.
