Saif Ali Khan recently had several surgical procedures following an incident in which he was stabbed by an intruder during a burglary attempt at his home in Mumbai on Thursday. Zahan Kapoor, the cousin of Kareena Kapoor, shared an update regarding the actor's health during an interview with Money Control.

Zahan Kapoor confirmed that Saif is now safe, stating, “I cannot comment on the specifics of the incident as it appears that no one possesses the complete details at this time. However, I can affirm that he is safe and making a good recovery. He is entirely out of danger, for which I am profoundly grateful. This event is certainly shocking.” Zahan is the grandson of the late Shashi Kapoor, while Kareena is the granddaughter of Shashi's elder brother, Raj Kapoor.

Rahul Bhat, Zahan’s co-star in the upcoming Netflix series Black Warrant, also expressed his sentiments regarding the unfortunate occurrence. He remarked, “It sends chills down my spine just to think about it. I can only fathom the trauma he must have experienced. This incident is both dreadful and inconceivable. I pray that God grants him strength and aids in his swift recovery. May he discover the resilience needed to overcome this harrowing experience.”

What happened to Saif Ali Khan?

Saif Ali Khan was at his residence in Bandra when an intruder reportedly entered during the early hours of Thursday. After a physical confrontation, the intruder stabbed Saif several times. The actor was promptly taken to Lilavati Hospital at approximately 3:30 a.m. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, who attended to him, disclosed that a foreign object, specifically a fragment of the knife, was located near Saif’s spine and was successfully extracted. The actor is currently in the process of recovery.
