Actor Kareena Kapoor is over the moon as her mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore, marks her milestone 80th birthday this Sunday. She hopped on Instagram to post some adorable photos of the legendary actress.

The pictures capture both of them in their cozy pajamas while hanging out at home. Kareena is sporting a fun dino-print set, and Sharmila looks adorable in a pink gingham outfit, complete with rollers in her hair and some stylish Kendall Jenner-inspired sunglasses.
Kareena captioned the post, “Who’s the coolest Gangsta ever? Do I even need to say? Happy birthday to my mother-in-law❤️ Just the Best..❤️♂️.” Fans are all about the lovely bond they share. Kareena is married to Saif Ali Khan, who is the eldest child of Sharmila. Sharmila has three kids—Saif, Saba, and Soha—and five grandkids: Sara, Ibrahim, Taimur, Inaaya, and Jehangir.
Sharmila kicked off her acting journey at just 14 in Satyajit Ray's famous Bengali film, The World of Apu. She not only made a name for herself in Bengali cinema but also became a major star in Bollywood. Her filmography includes hits like 'Kashmir Ki Kali', 'Safar', 'Amar Prem', 'Aradhana', and 'Daag'. After a break, she made her return to acting in the 2023 family drama Gulmohar, featuring Manoj Bajpayee in the lead. Up next, she’ll appear in The Outhouse alongside Mohan Agashe.
