Kareena shared her thoughts on avoiding Botox during the launch of nutritionist Rutuja Diwekar's book, The Commonsense Diet. She highlighted the importance of aging gracefully and naturally instead of turning to cosmetic procedures like Botox.
"Age is merely a number. My main goal is to stay fit and ready for whatever comes with aging. I want to keep working, whether it's on set at 70 or 75, and I aim to be active until I'm 85. I want to be able to bend down and pick up my grandkids, do things independently, and not rely on anyone or a cane," Kareena expressed.
"To achieve that, I need to eat well and maintain my mobility for workouts. It’s not just about my appearance; it’s about how I feel. For me, that’s what aging and life are all about. I’m embracing it while focusing on specific habits like eating ghee, enjoying khichdi, doing some weight training for muscle strength, taking walks, practicing my Surya Namaskars, and handling my own tasks instead of opting for skin treatments or Botox," she added.
