Kareena Kapoor Urges Paparazzi to Respect Taimur & Jeh’s Privacy at Randhir Kapoor’s Birthday

Actor Kareena Kapoor was seen arriving at her father Randhir Kapoor’s 78th birthday celebration in Mumbai. In a video shared by a paparazzo, she requested that the photographers refrain from taking pictures of her sons, Taimur and Jeh, after she had posed for several photographs herself.

Attired in a white shirt and loose-fitting denim, complemented by a black belt, Kareena engaged with the paparazzi for a few snapshots as she entered the venue for Randhir’s birthday. In the video, she is heard saying, “Mera photos leke aap log please chale jaao. Bachchon ka bola tha.” (You can take my pictures and please leave. I had mentioned the children’s photos). The photographers assured her that they would not photograph her children, yet she reiterated her request at least twice before proceeding inside.
Last month, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena issued a statement urging paparazzi and media representatives to avoid photographing their children and to refrain from congregating outside their residence, citing security issues. Nevertheless, the couple is open to being photographed during public events. This plea follows an incident on January 16, when Saif was attacked and stabbed six times during a burglary attempt at their Bandra home. An arrest has been made in connection with the incident, and the actor underwent surgeries for knife injuries to his neck and back.
Other family members, including Neetu Kapoor and Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter Raha, were also present at the birthday celebration.
Saif Ali Khan recounts what happened
Saif recounted the events in a conversation with Delhi Times, stating, “It was a film scene where I was covered in blood, and we took two decorative swords off the wall. That’s what Taimur saw – me covered in blood and Hari, the other house help, holding two swords. So, it was vaguely heroic, at least that moment (laughs). We said – ‘let’s get him’. And Kareena said – ‘No, let’s get out! Because we’ve got to get you to a hospital, and I’ve got to get Jeh out of here because I feel he’s (the intruder) still around, and there could be more of them.’”
