Pakistani actor Khaqan Shahnawaz recently made a humorous remark regarding a potential collaboration with Kareena Kapoor, which was not well received by her fans. During an appearance on a television program aired by the Geo Urdu channel, a fan expressed her desire to see Khaqan perform alongside Kareena, to which he responded.

In an Instagram video, a fan approaches Khaqan and says, “Sir, I wish you collaborated with Kareena.” The actor contemplates the inquiry before humorously responding, “Well, I could portray her son. Yes, I could definitely play her son.” He further notes that Kareena is significantly older than him, stating, “Kareena ji is much older. I can only be her son.” The host then humorously mentions that there is a new addition to the family, Khaqan Shanawaz Kapoor, to which he responds with a lack of enthusiasm, “Yeah.”

However, fans were not amused by his humour. One fan remarked, “Kareena Kapoor wouldn’t even recognize him; I’ve never seen any of his dramas.” Another commented, “This man is quite full of himself.” A third pointed out, “If age shaming had a face.” Additionally, one fan expressed frustration, stating, “Oh, the arrogance is astonishing.” Many fans left irate comments beneath the video, criticizing the actor's nonchalant demeanour.

Kareena has recently enjoyed considerable success both at the box office and on streaming platforms. In 2023, her performance in the Netflix film Jaane Jaan received widespread acclaim from audiences.
