Bigg Boss 18 has declared Karan Veer Mehra as its champion. The actor triumphed over Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal to secure the trophy of Salman Khan's program on January 19. Karan, who encountered accusations of utilizing financial resources to purchase votes and media backing, addressed these claims with a humorous response.

On Sunday, following his triumph in securing the Bigg Boss 18 trophy, Karan Veer Mehra engaged with the media and conveyed his heartfelt appreciation. Reflecting on his achievement, he remarked, “I am extremely pleased. Particularly due to the immense support I received from all of you. The encouragement from fans and the wonderful friendships I formed within the house—this victory belongs to all of us, and it is a shared success. Thank you very much.”

In response to a reporter's lighthearted inquiry about why he had not compensated the media despite his recent victory, Karan Veer humorously replied, “Just a moment, let me grab my Google Pay.”

The online community responded to Karan Veer Mehra's humorous remark. One user on social media remarked, “he's incredibly funny.” Another added, “This is why we adore him. He is always so straightforward.” Additionally, an Instagram user stated, “He possesses both humour and winning qualities.” The actor captivated audiences with his delightful and engaging personality on the show, consistently entertaining them with his witty one-liners.

In a previous episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, Farah Khan commended Karan's performance in the game, drawing a comparison to Sidharth Shukla, the winner of Bigg Boss 13. In response to this comparison, Karan remarked, “He was a wonderful person and a dear friend. Although we did not spend a great deal of time together, we had a strong understanding of one another. I am pleased to be likened to him. He was a person of great generosity.”

In addition to claiming the illustrious Bigg Boss 18 trophy, which bore a resemblance to the Bigg Boss 13 trophy, Karan also secured a cash reward of ₹50 lakh. The eviction of Rajat Dalal in third place surprised many fans, leading to expressions of disappointment and allegations of the show being "fixed." While Shilpa Shirodkar and Chum Darang appeared to celebrate Karan’s success, several former contestants were visibly disheartened, believing that either Vivian or Rajat should have emerged as the winner.
