Under the hosting of Salman Khan, BB 18 aired for a duration of three months. Overcoming numerous challenges, Karan claimed the title of Bigg Boss 18 champion and received a prize of Rs 50 lakh. In a recent interview, Karan reflected on his victory coinciding with his father's birth anniversary and paid tribute to his late friend, Sushant Singh Rajput.

In a discussion with BollywoodLife, Karan Veer Mehra expressed his feelings regarding his triumph in Bigg Boss 18, which coincided with his father's birth anniversary. He remarked, "This is incredibly special. I am truly delighted that he bestowed this gift upon me, allowing me to present him with this gift in return."

The television actor reflected on Sushant Singh Rajput, stating, "Today is the birthday of my dear friend Sushant Singh Rajput. Therefore, I feel a great sense of happiness on this occasion. He has undeniably played a significant role in my life." January 21 commemorates Sushant's birth anniversary.

Karan Veer Mehra received assistance from SSR

Previously, on Bigg Boss 18, Karan disclosed that Sushant provided support during a challenging phase in his career. Commending SSR's disciplined approach, the actor remarked, "As an engineering student, he maintained a clear and methodical perspective. He meticulously organized his life, envisioning his aspirations for the next five years."

Karan also stated that SSR did not require any assistance prior to his unfortunate passing in 2020. Reflecting on his friend's premature death, the actor remarked, "It was a significant shock when it occurred. He was a very organized individual. He maintained a diary in which he recorded the names of 10 to 12 directors he aspired to collaborate with. By 2010-2011, he had already partnered with 8 to 9 of them."
