The media was buzzing to see if Karan Veer Mehra really got down on one knee for Chum Darang as he claimed in the Bigg Boss 18 house. He mentioned, "Salman sir asked me what I want. I want Chum Darang," while vowing to make a formal proposal at the grand finale, which was just four days away. However, Chum told BollywoodLife that there hasn't been any official proposal from Karan so far.

Karan Veer shared with the media that he doesn't really need a formal proposal since everyone is already aware of how he feels about Chum Darang; he's been pretty open about it. He also suggested that Chum's past might be holding her back from accepting him. He was quoted saying, "She needs to stop flipping through those old pages.
