Just one day prior to the grand finale, Karan made a humorous remark regarding Vivian Dsena's two-year-old daughter, Layan. During a segment dedicated to roasting, the television actor remarked to Vivian that while he is well-known, his young daughter did not recognize him, which caused distress to Dsena. Following his participation in Bigg Boss 18, Karan reflected on this incident, acknowledging that the roasting of Vivian and his daughter represented a 'low point' in his overall experience.

In a discussion with The Indian Express, Karan Veer Mehra shared the significant highs and lows of his experience on Bigg Boss 18. He stated, "The moments when I lifted Edin or trimmed Rajat’s beard were among my highlights. Conversely, the roast I performed with Vivian stands out as a low point; I ought to have refrained from that."

Karan elaborated on his relationship with Vivian Dsena, the first runner-up of the reality show hosted by Salman Khan. "We experienced a disagreement during the show, as our interpretations of friendship differ significantly. He regarded me as a close friend, while I perceived that he was achieving things with relative ease. However, we have now developed a friendship that has lasted for 100 days," Karan remarked.

In reference to his victory in Bigg Boss 18, Karan expressed his intention to dedicate the trophy to all those who voted for and supported him. He stated, "I have become accustomed to winning; I aspire to achieve a hat-trick now. Therefore, I kindly request Colors TV to announce another show that I could potentially win, perhaps Laughter Chefs."
