Bigg Boss 18 concluded with Karan Veer Mehra being crowned the champion of the latest season, triumphing over Vivian Dsena in a thrilling finale. Salman Khan officially declared Karan the winner on Sunday evening. Following the finale, Karan reflected on his experiences within the house during an interview with Screen, acknowledging that his jest directed at Vivian Dsena represented a 'low point' in his journey.

What Karan said

During the conversation, Karan expressed, “The moments when I lifted Edin or trimmed Rajat’s beard were the highlights for me. Conversely, the low point was the roast I did with Vivian, which I should have refrained from.”

This occurred during a roast segment led by the well-known comedic duo Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri. Karan commented, “Vivian Dsena, everyone knows you. Yet, your child did not recognize you.” This remark did not resonate well with Vivian, who responded, “That was not appropriate.” Karan promptly offered his apologies.

Reflecting on his relationship with Vivian, Karan stated, “We disagreed on the show; our interpretations of friendship differ significantly. He viewed me as a closer friend, while I felt he was receiving things too easily. However, we have now established a friendship that has lasted for 100 days.”

More details

Karan was one of the six finalists in the competition, alongside Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, Chum Darang, Avinash Mishra, and Rajat Dalal. In an interview with ANI, Karan expressed his joy upon winning the show, stating, "I am extremely happy. I have been selected as the winner. Achieving victory in consecutive reality shows is a rare feat. I had faith in my abilities, dedicated myself to hard work, and set my sights on success, which I ultimately attained. This experience has revealed certain aspects of my personality, such as my emotional nature. Previously, I would feel embarrassed about crying over minor issues, but now I understand that it is perfectly acceptable."
