Adar Poonawalla has beaten Reliance and Saregama in the race to acquire major stake in Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. As per an announcement by the Bollywood production house, Poonawalla's Serene Entertainment has bought 50% stake at Dharma for 1000 crore. Karan Johar will retain the remaining 50% ownership.
