Karan Aujla's Ticket Prices Break Records, Outpacing Diljit Dosanjh and Coldplay

Indian music fans have recently enjoyed a wide array of prominent concerts featuring international artists such as Diljit Dosanjh, Maroon 5, and Dua Lipa. The anticipation surrounding Coldplay's performance in January has also sparked significant enthusiasm. Nevertheless, Punjabi artist Karan Aujla is capturing attention by establishing a new benchmark for ticket prices during his India tour, which begins this month, exceeding the costs associated with all recent global performances.

Tickets can be purchased through BookMyShow. Karan's concert tickets have become the priciest among both recent and forthcoming concerts in India.
On BookMyShow, the tickets for his performance in Gurgaon, set for December 19, are priced at ₹15 lakh for a group of 15 individuals, making it the most expensive option. The ticket for his Mumbai concert is similarly priced.
The VVIP Diamond pass is available at ₹1 lakh per person, nearly double the price of the lounge pass for Diljit Dosanjh’s concert in Mumbai, which is also scheduled for December 19.
A comparable ticket for Karan Aujla’s performance, allowing entry for 15 individuals, is priced at ₹3 lakh in Kolkata, while in Jaipur and Hyderabad, the prices are ₹6 lakh and ₹6.5 lakh, respectively. In contrast to Diljit, these tickets are at a higher cost.
For Karan’s show in Mumbai, the highest-priced tickets were sold for ₹60,000, with the lowest priced at ₹4,999. Regarding the forthcoming Coldplay concert in India, the most expensive tickets for their event in Ahmedabad are priced at ₹35,000, while the least expensive tickets are available for ₹2,500.
Comparison with Maroon 5
For Maroon 5's inaugural performance in Mumbai, the highest-priced ticket was set at ₹20,000, while the lowest-priced option was available for ₹5,000. In contrast, Dua Lipa's recent concert in Mumbai featured a top-tier ticket priced at ₹45,000, with the most affordable ticket being sold for ₹3,500.
In Ahmedabad, the least expensive ticket for Karan Aujla's upcoming show is priced at ₹2,749. This event is scheduled for December 31, although the venue has not yet been disclosed.
Karan Aujla gets his tour to India
Punjabi artist Karan Aujla is set to bring his tour, It Was All A Dream, to India, where he will visit eight cities. This marks his inaugural tour in the country. The It Was All A Dream tour is organized and presented by Team Innovation and Live Nation. The Indian-Canadian singer is scheduled to perform in Chandigarh on December 7, followed by a show in Bengaluru on December 13, and a performance in New Delhi on December 15. He will then have additional concerts on December 18, culminating with a final show in Mumbai on December 21.
Recognized as one of the leading figures in modern Punjabi music, the Vancouver-based singer has gained acclaim for his tracks such as Softly, White Brown Black, and Tauba Tauba, featured in Vicky Kaushal’s film, Bad Newz.
