Kanye West is facing significant backlash for a recent casting call that includes unsettling requirements. The 47-year-old rapper, known for his song "Gold Digger," has once again attracted criticism for his antisemitic actions.

West suggested that the position is unpaid, referring to it as an “open casting call for volunteers.” The announcement indicated that “Ye is assembling a hooligan choir” to perform a cover of the song “Carnival” from his album, Vultures. He specified that the choir would consist solely of males and explicitly stated that “NO FAT PEOPLE” should apply.

Additionally, West outlined several other concerning criteria, including that “volunteers” must possess a “skin complexion of Sean Combs or darker” and either have shaved heads or be willing to shave their heads upon approval. He further insisted that all potential choir members “MUST BE COMFORTABLE WEARING SWASTIKAS.”

The announcement mentioned that members would be accepted from around the world, with the base located in Los Angeles. West provided a Los Angeles address for the casting, which commenced on Saturday and is scheduled to end on Tuesday.

The notice concluded with the phrase, “F**K AN EMAIL ADDRESS.”

Although West has since deleted the post, screenshots have circulated widely on X.

Recently, West began selling T-shirts featuring swastikas on his website, but Shopify quickly shut down the sale. He was also reportedly dropped by his talent agent due to the swastika merchandise.

‘This is straight-up clown behavior’

Responses on X have been overwhelmingly negative, with one user commenting, “You're really digging deep into the depths of societal toxicity, aren't you? Excluding fat people and demanding specific skin complexions is quite something.” Another remarked, “This is straight-up clown behavior. If you’re begging for attention this hard, you’ve already lost. Swastikas? Fat-shaming? Obsessing over skin color? You sound like a joke trying way too hard to be edgy. Nobody with self-respect would waste their time on this garbage.” One user even tagged Elon Musk.
