According to a recent report from InTouch Weekly, Kanye's threats towards Pete left him feeling 'terrified', prompting him to terminate the relationship to safeguard his mental well-being.

According to a source cited by InTouch, “People may not realize it, but they were very much in love. He did not end the relationship due to a lack of feelings; rather, he found the intense scrutiny and overwhelming stress associated with dating her to be unmanageable.”

Their romance was significantly affected by Kanye West's persistent public taunts, which included threats of physical violence against Pete. West and Kardashian were married in 2014 and were in the midst of a contentious divorce during her relationship with Pete.
