Kanye West's ex-assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, is said to be in seclusion after a number of alarming social media messages from the rapper concerning her. Pisciotta has alleged that West exhibited inappropriate conduct while she was employed by him in 2021, asserting that he sent her messages implying a sexual proposition and participated in explicit phone conversations. Her attorney has verified the distressing circumstances, noting that the posts have caused Pisciotta to feel apprehensive about her safety.

West’s social media posts force his assistant to go into hiding

Following the lawsuit, West refuted the allegations made against him, stating, “YOU KNOW WHY I NEVER F**** LAUREN PISCIOTA CAUSE SHE SMELLT AKWARD.” He further expressed, “I DONT GO ONE YEAR WITHOUT SOMEBODY TRYING THIS S*** WHERE THE F*** IS LAUREN PISCIOTA NOW,” as reported by The Mirror US.

In response, Pisciotta’s attorney, Lisa Bloom, asserted that the rapper’s comments on social media have adversely impacted her client. Bloom informed The US Sun, “Kanye West has been tweeting about my client. These very ugly, nasty slurs are intended to intimidate her.”

Bloom elaborated, “She has been forced to go into hiding. She has had to vacate her residence due to threats and harassment, and she is currently not working. This is the toll it has taken on her. Therefore, while it is indeed challenging to confront individuals like this, it is not insurmountable.”

West scheduled for a pretrial conference

Pisciotta has initiated legal proceedings against West, alleging breach of contract, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and the establishment of a hostile work environment. The litigation is poised to advance, with a pretrial conference arranged for March 27.

Regarding the upcoming pretrial, Bloom commented to the media, “I do not have any apprehensions regarding his potential misconduct. In fact, I would welcome any inappropriate behaviour on his part. Such actions will be documented on video and by a stenographer, which could be utilized against him.”
