According to sources who spoke to the Daily Mail, the 47-year-old was set to headline two shows at the Tokyo Dome this May. But after their shocking performance at the Grammys, it seems investors are having second thoughts.

“Kanye is really messing up every chance he gets. That stunt was super creepy and people in Japan are horrified,” an insider revealed.

To add to his troubles, a bunch of ex-employees filed lawsuits against him, claiming he created a toxic work environment. Some of the allegations even included sexual harassment and assault.

After seeming to enjoy some time away from the public eye for months, Kanye made a surprise move on Sunday night that definitely caught everyone’s attention.

A source mentioned that Japan is experiencing a cultural shift regarding women's rights, and the MeToo movement is gaining significant traction. What he did is being viewed as an act of coercive control, which is completely unacceptable. He has totally misread the cultural landscape of Japan.

Given that Kanye West and Bianca Censori are currently staying at a hotel in Tokyo, their appearance together on the red carpet could backfire big time. It wouldn’t be surprising at all if the investors supporting the concerts in Japan decide to pull their funding for the upcoming shows.
