Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, recently shared on social media that he’s only following Taylor Swift on Instagram. Considering their history of beef, people online weren’t too thrilled about it and told him to chill out.

Ye shared a screenshot on his Instagram stories, saying he’s only following one person. His next story revealed that it’s just Taylor and no one else. He even tweeted about following Taylor on X (formerly Twitter) with a cheeky side-eye emoji.

One fan vented in all caps, “LEAVE. HER. ALONE. IT'S BEEN 16 YEARS,” showing their frustration. Another chimed in, “The Grammys are going to be wild.” Someone else quipped, “BULLY (Taylor Version).” An X user expressed disbelief, saying, “This is so ??$/& the obsession 16 years later is crazy.” Another reminded everyone, “The obsession is wild, remember the VMAs was 16 YEARS AGO! Chill out! Get some help!”

On a different note, Ye expressed his gratitude to the Grammy Awards for nominating his song Carnival, saying, “Thanks to the Grammys for the nomination for Carnival.” He also tagged Taylor in his post, which caught some attention. One fan pointed out, “So no one’s gonna mention the Taylor Swift tag?” A sarcastic reply was, “aw, is someone a swiftie???”

Back in 2009, Kanye West famously interrupted Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, insisting that Beyoncé should have won instead. Things got even more heated in 2016 when Kanye mentioned Taylor in his song "Famous" and included her image in the music video without her permission.

This year, Taylor is up for several Grammys, including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Music Video, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
