Nishad Yusuf, the editor of the upcoming Tamil film Kanguva, was found dead during the wee hours of Wednesday, in his apartment in Kochi. Nishad has worked as an editor in Malayalam films like Unda and Thallumaala. He was 43 at the time of his death. The reason for his demise is not known yet.

Famous film editor Nishad Yusuf, who was gearing up for the release of his Tamil film Kanguva, was found dead at his flat in Kochi during the early hours of Wednesday. As per reports, Nishad was found around 2 am. However, further information on the reason for his death has not yet been revealed. Further details are awaited.
Nishad predominantly worked in Malayalam films like Tovino Thomas-starrer Thallumaala, Unda, One, and National Film Award-winning Saudi Vellakka. He had won the Kerala State Award for Best Editor for Thallumaala. Namely, Nishad was working as an editor in the upcoming Malayalam action thriller film Bazooka, starring Mammootty in the lead role and written and directed by Deeno Dennis.
Nishad Yusuf’s next Kanguva
Nisha’s untimely demise comes a few weeks before the release of his Tamil film Kanguva, starring Suriya in the lead role. The film is slated for a theatrical release on November 14.
Kanguva is a big-budget action fantasy drama, written and directed by Siruthai Siva. Hindi actors Bobby Deol and Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, K. S. Ravikumar, and others are also part of the cast.
With a release in around 3500 screens, the film is planned to hit theatres in eight languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, English, French, and Spanish. The team is planning to recreate Suriya’s voice in every language, using advanced AI technology. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the film.
