Actor and Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut has expressed her shock and disbelief after receiving an electricity bill of ₹1 lakh for her home in Manali. She shared that the bill is for a house where she doesn't even reside, making her wonder how the amount could be so high. 

Kangana Ranaut slams Himachal Pradesh government

Recently, Kangana participated in a political gathering in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, where she addressed the issue of the electricity bill. She also expressed her discontent with the Himachal Pradesh government regarding the high charges. A video capturing her remarks has emerged on social media.

Kangana stated, “This month, I received an electricity bill of Rs. 1 lakh for my house in Manali, where I do not even reside. The situation is truly dire. I read this and feel a sense of shame about what is occurring. However, we have an opportunity; all of you, my brothers and sisters, are doing significant work on the ground.”

The actor stated, "It is our collective responsibility to guide this country and this state towards progress. I would describe them as predators, and we must liberate our state from their grasp."

Kangana’s Bollywood work
