Similarly, Arjun Kapoor re-shared a post, congratulating Gukesh by saying, "Congratulations Gukesh on this extraordinary achievement at such a young age. You make every Indian proud..."

R Madhavan, in a recent post on his Instagram Stories, expressed, "This is our approach... We achieve victory, we celebrate. We offer our prayers and gratitude to the divine. World champion." He included a video featuring Gukesh's father anxiously pacing outside a room while holding his phone. The actor remarked, "What a goodfather... May God bestow this kind of joy upon every parent!" Additionally, he shared a nostalgic video of Gukesh discussing his aspiration to become the youngest world chess champion.

His ability to overcome the opponent’s advantageous white pieces in the final match is a testament to our champion's composure and resilience."

Chiranjeevi expressed on X, "Incredible! My heart is filled with pride, dear @DGukesh! What an extraordinary achievement! India is immensely proud of you! At just 18 years old, you have become the 18th World Chess Champion and only the second Indian in history to do so! Most importantly, you are now the youngest World Champion of all time! Dhanush expressed his sentiments on Twitter, stating, "This is an immensely proud moment for India, and particularly for Chennai, as Gukesh has achieved the title of the youngest World Chess Champion. Congratulations on this remarkable accomplishment; you have inspired us all and instilled a great sense of pride." Navya subsequently shared a post on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by a raised hands emoji.

The 18-year-old triumphed over China's Ding Liren following an arduous tournament spanning 14 days of matches, thus earning the title of the youngest undisputed world chess champion. The Chinese grandmaster had claimed the world championship title the previous year by defeating Russia's Ian Nepomniachtchi in the rapid playoffs held in Kazakhstan.
