On August 19, people across the country celebrated the joyous occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Bollywood celebrities, too, celebrated the occasion with their siblings. Actress Kajol shared a glimpse of her daughter Nysa and son Yug's Raksha Bandhan celebration. The actress took to her official X account and shared the brother-sister duo's photo. She also penned a strong-worded note on women safety.

Kajol shares a message on women safety

Kajol shared Nysa and Yug's adorable snap on her X account. The actress mentioned in her note, "Raksha karne wala aaj tumhara din hai (Today is your day to protect) May all the protectors today understand that this is what makes u a man..(sic)."

She further penned, "Make the women around u feel safe enough to live without fear .. let’s teach our sons to be better (sic)." Kajol ended the note with hashtags of Happy Raksha Bandhan, sibling love, and proud mom.

Kajol's married life and family

Kajol got married to Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn on February 24, 1999. They have been married for 25 years now. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Nysa on April 20, 2003. A few years later, the duo was blessed with their second child, son Yug on September 13, 2010. 

Kajol's upcoming films

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajol has three exciting projects lined up for release. The actress will be seen in Maharagni. Directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati, the star cast of Maharagni also includes Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, Jisshu Sengupta, Aditya Seal, Chaya Kadam and Pramod Pathak.

Apart from this film, the actress has Sarzameen with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan (son of Saif Ali Khan). Kajol will also be seen in Do Patti with Kriti Sanon.
