What Ujjwal asked from Big B

Ujjwal, a UPSC aspirant from Delhi, who secured prize money of ₹6,40,000 during the game, presented a preview of his vision board for 2025, which featured a new mobile phone. In astonishment, Big B inquired whether he did not already possess one. The contestant replied, “No, I intend to purchase it with the prize I win on KBC.” Touched by his sincerity, Amitabh Bachchan graciously offered to gift him a new phone.

The jovial interaction continued as Ujjwal candidly admitted, “I hope you won’t take offence, sir, but I can’t help but notice your shoes.” In response, Big B, clearly entertained, promptly proposed to present him with “two or three pairs of shoes,” which elicited enthusiastic cheers and applause from the audience.

How Amitabh reacted

Ujjwal subsequently made an unexpected request that even the esteemed superstar found necessary to decline. “You have made my dream of owning shoes and a mobile phone come true. I am grateful for that. However, sir, I have a deep passion for cars. Your impressive collection, which includes supercars, has inspired me. Therefore, I was hoping you might fulfil my dream of having a car,” he expressed.

For a brief moment, Amitabh Bachchan appeared taken aback but quickly responded with his characteristic humour, stating, “Let me be honest, I cannot give you a car.” His straightforward yet amusing response elicited laughter from the audience.

Later in the discussion, the superstar offered Ujjwal something even more remarkable. “You are welcome to take a ride in my car whenever you wish. I will personally drive you,” he promised the contestant. This lighthearted exchange between Ujjwal Dutta and the host garnered admiration from internet users for Amitabh Bachchan’s humility and sharp wit.
