Amitabh Bachchan has just come back as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati, aka KBC 16, and he is already winning hearts for his gestures. In the latest episode of the show, the megastar has promised to help a contestant with achieving a goal. Amitabh Bachchan promised the contestant will have access to a toilet and bathroom, for the Cheeni Kum actor will make sure that a washroom is built in the contestant Jayanta Duley's house.

Amitabh Bachchan to build a washroom in KBC 16 contestant's house

On learning that Jayanta Duley was also suffering like his villagers by having no access to a private washroom, Amitabh Bachchan offered assistance. The host promised that he would build a washroom for Jayanta to promote clean sanitary habits among the villagers.

Jayanta Duley's aim is better sanitation for the entire village

25-year-old Jayanta Duley is a student as well as a part-time tutor in Agai. He came on the show to be able to build a bathroom for his mother and sister to bathe in. The women currently have access to a pond, which is public property and is consequently used by everyone in the village, including animals. Jayanta felt especially embarrassed for his sister, who is forced to bathe in the public pond owing to their poor financial condition. While talking about his mother and sister's condition, Jayanta also stressed on the need for proper sanitation in his village and how he wishes to contribute towards that in any way possible.

Amitabh Bachchan volunteers to build the washroom

Amitabh Bachchan discussed Jayanta's budget and offered paying Rs. 50,000 to build the washroom. He promised that no matter how much money Jayanta wins, the money to build the washroom is on the host.
