An exclusive report by the K-media outlet E-Daily on January 6 revealed that the actor from Vagabond acquired a luxurious residence following the signing of a “Jeonse” agreement for a unit in Lanuvo Hannam, an upscale property located within the gated community of luxury villas in UN Village, in August 2024. The Jeonse system in South Korea necessitates that tenants provide a substantial lump-sum deposit to the landlord to secure their tenancy.

As reported by AllKpop, the landlord is obligated to return this deposit to the tenant upon the conclusion of the lease term. Lee Seung Gi's Jeonse arrangement secured him a 2,750 square feet unit situated on the second floor. Official documentation indicates that the lease, which is set to expire in August 2026, is valued at 10.5 billion KRW (approximately $7.2 million), representing the highest real estate transaction recorded in Seoul for the years 2024 and 2025.

The Hannam-dong neighbourhood has established itself as a preferred residential area for prominent individuals in the business and entertainment sectors. It features three distinguished apartment complexes: UN Village, Nine One Hannam, and Hannam Hill.

According to Tatler Asia, the UN Village is the residence of BLACKPINK’s Jennie and actress Song Hye Kyo from The Glory. Additionally, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon possesses a penthouse valued at $7.3 million in Nine One Hannam. Furthermore, BTS members have made significant real estate investments, including a shared residence in Hannam known as The Hill. Individually, Jin, also known as Kim Seokjin, has acquired several apartments within the same complex, while Suga purchased a house in UN Village in 2018. Jimin has also secured a luxurious apartment in Nine One Hannam as part of his journey.

Lee Seung Gi and Lee Da In tied the knot in April 2023. In February 2024, they celebrated the arrival of their daughter and initially resided in a commercial residential apartment located in Samseong-dong. The complex, finalized in 2022, features a unique housing arrangement with only four units, each occupying its floor.
