Actor Jyotika is actively promoting her forthcoming Netflix web series, Dabba Cartel, across social media platforms. In the comments section of a recent image she shared, she faced trolling regarding the comparison of her husband, Suriya, with Pradeep Ranganathan and Vijay, with some users asserting that the latter two are superior. Jyotika addressed one such comment directly.

Jyotika responds to troll

While many supportive remarks accompanied Jyotika's latest post, a few trolls commented, “Pradeep Ranganathan is better than your husband Suriya,” and “The truth is Vijay is better than your husband and his brother; they should first surpass the collections of Dragon and Love Today.” Other comments included, “Vijay is better than your husband,” and “Thalapathy Vijay >>>> Suriya, Karthi, and Suriya's father.” In response to a comment claiming Vijay was superior to Suriya, Jyotika replied with a laughter emoji.

Internet reacts

The online community, particularly on Reddit and Instagram, reacted to Jyotika's engagement with the troll, which has since been removed. A Reddit user shared a screenshot, stating, “Jyothika's response to a VJ fan.” Another remarked, “The audacity to tell a woman that someone else is better than her husband.” One user humorously noted, “We got Jyothika involved in fan wars before GTA VI.” However, some questioned her involvement in the fan conflict, with an Instagram user commenting, “Why did you respond to that negative comment? Is it just to gain media attention? It seems like the entire family is envious of other actors' success. (sic)”

Jyotika was last featured in the 2024 films Shaitaan and Srikanth. In addition to Dabba Cartel, set to premiere on February 28, she is also part of the Hindi-Tamil film Lion. Meanwhile, Suriya's 2024 film Kanguva did not perform well at the box office, but he is slated to appear in Retro, a forthcoming project directed by RJ Balaji.
