The 30-year-old pop sensation has unfollowed his father-in-law, Stephen Baldwin, leading to discussions regarding potential issues in his marriage. Observers have swiftly made connections, pointing out that this action follows Bieber's decision to unfollow several significant individuals in his life.

According to The U.S. Sun, Justin Bieber has allegedly unfollowed a number of individuals on Instagram, including his former mentor Usher, ex-managers Scooter Braun and Allison Kaye, former associate Ryan Good, and longtime bodyguard Kenny Hamilton.

Fans on Reddit have expressed various interpretations of this action, with some speculating that unfollowing Stephen could indicate potential marital issues. One user remarked, “It’s so he doesn’t have to deal with her dad when the divorce happens,” while another described the unfollowing trend as somewhat “a bit weird.”

On her part, Hailey has reportedly never followed her father on Instagram. Last year, Stephen publicly requested prayers for his daughter, Hailey, and her husband, Justin, alluding to undisclosed challenges in their relationship, which allegedly left the RHODE owner feeling “angry and hurt.” Months later, Hailey disclosed that she “was no longer very close to her family.”

“I’m not super close with my family at this point in my life because I feel like I’m very independent. I’m my own individual now, and I’ve built my own family. But when I look back on my childhood and how I grew up, I have very fond, beautiful memories," she stated in an interview with W magazine.

Hours after the announcement, Stephen Baldwin shared a mysterious message on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, January 15. He included a quote from Pastor Alistair Begg, stating, “Let us beware of making snap decisions when we’re not on our game when life has turned against us when we’re disheartened and discouraged.”

Additionally, he reportedly expressed gratitude for his family by quoting lyrics from Ryan Ellis’ song “Better Days.” His post conveyed, “God, thank you for my family and for all my lessons. I don’t deserve them, but you keep on pouring out from Heaven."

In February 2024, Stephen reposted a message from religious leader Victor Marx on his Instagram Stories, requesting “prayers” for the couple.

"Christians, please, when you think of Justin & Hailey, take a moment to offer a little prayer for them,” Victor stated in his post. He added in the caption, “I seldom like to post about certain individuals in the limelight due to the negative comments we receive. Eileen and Hailey’s mother often pray together for J&H and our children as well.”

In the midst of swirling divorce rumours, Hailey addressed the speculation, urging fans not to believe the gossip. Later that year, Justin and Hailey surprised their followers by announcing they were expecting their first child. In August 2024, the couple welcomed their son, Jack Blues Bieber. The day following the birth, Stephen Baldwin congratulated the new parents by resharing a celebratory post from Justin’s mother.
