Actor Junaid Khan, who is set to appear in Loveyapa alongside Khushi Kapoor, takes great pleasure in discussing cinema. However, there is one individual with whom he chooses to refrain from such conversations—his father, the actor Aamir Khan.

Junaid shared

According to The Indian Express, Junaid recently expressed his fondness for spending time with Khushi's father, Boney Kapoor, during an interview. The actor mentioned that he relishes discussions about cinema, although he does not engage in such conversations with his father. He emphasized that he shares a strong bond with Boney, the producer, and can converse with him for extended periods.

Junaid remarked, “I thoroughly enjoy spending time with him. I can talk to him for hours. He has the most captivating stories and possesses nearly 50 years of experience in the film industry.”

When it was suggested that his father, Aamir Khan, likely has a wealth of intriguing stories and experiences from his cinematic journey, Junaid's reply was unexpected.

Junaid stated, “I would prefer to sit with Boney uncle. Certainly, he is like a walking encyclopedia, knowledgeable about a vast array of topics. However, as the saying goes… ghar ki murgi dal barabar (We tend to undervalue what is familiar to us).”

Junaid’s next project

Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, who recently entered the acting scene with their respective OTT films Maharaj and The Archies, are now poised to make their cinematic debut in Loveyapa. The film, directed by Advait Chandan, also stars Ashutosh Rana and Grusha Kapoor in significant roles and is slated for release in theatres on February 7.

Set against the backdrop of contemporary romance, the producers have indicated that the film presents a "heartwarming narrative filled with memorable performances, vibrant music, and stunning visuals." It is reported to be a remake of the acclaimed 2022 Tamil film Love Today.
