Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta's son, Junaid Khan, is currently engaged in promoting his forthcoming film, Loveyapa. He will share the screen with Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. The trailer for this romantic comedy, directed by Advait Chandan, was recently unveiled and has garnered a favorable reaction from online audiences. In anticipation of the film's release, Junaid and Khushi made an appearance on the finale of Salman Khan's show, Bigg Boss 18, to promote their project. Notably, Aamir Khan joined them during this appearance. During the show, Junaid made a playful comment regarding his father's former spouses, Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta. In a subsequent interview, Junaid expressed remorse for his remark.

What happened on Bigg Boss 18 grand finale set?

Salman and Aamir were seen enjoying a lively reunion on stage. They engaged in a light-hearted activity of exchanging phones and examining their contents, which was relevant to the film's storyline. Salman Khan humorously remarked that he found nothing intriguing in Aamir's phone, stating, "What do I even see in your phone? Either Reena [Dutta] or Kiran [Rao] would have texted you." Junaid quickly interjected, saying, "So you would be able to read messages from both ex-wives."

Here's what Junaid Khan has to say

In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Junaid, who made his acting debut in Maharaj in 2024, acknowledged that he should have conducted himself more appropriately. He stated, "I mean, perhaps it was a bit inappropriate. They are both very esteemed actors, and I believe I should have shown more decorum… They have both been in the industry for 40 years and are exceptional talents. So, I suppose I should have behaved better."

Aamir Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta in 1986, and together they have two children, Junaid and Ira Khan. The couple divorced in 2002. Subsequently, in 2005, Aamir married Kiran Rao, and they welcomed their son Azad through surrogacy. In 2021, the pair announced their separation; however, they remain committed to co-parenting their son. On a professional note, Aamir and Kiran recently collaborated on the project Laapaata Ladies, which received international recognition.

In another development, Junaid and Khushi's film Loveyapa, featuring Ashutosh Rana, is scheduled to be released in theaters on February 7, 2025.
