Eshwar Harris, Jr NTR's body double who worked on a few scenes in SS Rajamouli's RRR, shared that he passed on the chance to be part of Ayan Mukherji's War 2. In a chat with Mana Stars, he mentioned that the pay he was offered was so minimal it wouldn't even cover his travel expenses.

Jr NTR's stunt double shares that the pay for War 2 is pretty low

Eshwar shared in an interview that he was offered the role of Jr NTR’s body double for a few scenes in War 2, but he had to decline because the pay was surprisingly low. He said, 'I was recently approached about working on War 2, but I turned it down because the pay was just not worth it. They wanted me to catch the next flight to Mumbai, but the compensation was so minimal that it wouldn't even cover my travel expenses.'

He called out the Hindi film industry, saying he gets better pay in Telugu films. 'Bollywood is worse; I'm making more here in Hyderabad and Tollywood. With your big budgets, you should be paying more. They wanted me to work for three days, but I declined because it wouldn't even cover my travel costs,' he said.

All about War 2

War 2, produced by Yash Raj Films, is part of the YRF Spy Universe that features movies like Ek Tha Tiger, the original War, and Pathaan. While Siddharth Anand directed the first War, Ayan is stepping in for the sequel. Hrithik Roshan is back as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, and this film will also see Jr NTR making his Bollywood debut. Kiara Advani is also in the cast, and the movie is set to hit theaters on August 14 this year. Following War 2, the next installment in the universe will be Shiv Rawail’s Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
