Jr NTR is set to make his Bollywood debut in Ayan Mukherji's War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan. Although details about his character are still under wraps, he's been working hard to get in shape for the role. Eshwar Harris, his body double from RRR, shared with Mana Stars that Jr NTR has been on a diet to keep up with his co-star.

Eshwar mentioned that he hadn't met Jr NTR during the RRR shoot, but they recently crossed paths while filming a Zepto ad. He shared, 'I ran into Jr NTR on the set of a Zepto commercial. He was feeling a bit under the weather that day with a fever. Plus, he's been on a diet to keep up with Hrithik Roshan, which is no small feat (laughs). I'm not trying to compete, but I do stay fit because Jr NTR anna inspires me.'

Jr NTR's latest photo from his trip to Dubai had fans worried about his slim appearance. Some thought he was just getting fit for War 2 and his new project with Prashanth Neel, while others were concerned about his health. His supporters even stood up for him against rumors of Ozempic use, saying, 'A guy can't even shed some pounds without people coming up with ridiculous theories.' Another fan added, 'He's acting in one of Hrithik's films, maybe he's trying to keep up with him.'

All about War 2

War 2 is the sixth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, which features films like Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, and Hrithik's War. The original War film was directed by Siddharth Anand in 2019, but Ayan is stepping in to direct the sequel. Alongside War 2, Shiv Rawail's Alpha, featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, will also join the universe. You can catch War 2 in theaters starting August 14.
