Actor Jr NTR is currently in Japan to promote his film Devara: Part 1. Accompanying him on this promotional tour is his wife, Lakshmi Pranathi, with whom he celebrated her birthday on Wednesday. Tarak also shared a unique photo of the two on his Instagram to extend his birthday wishes to her.

Jr NTR shared two heartfelt photos with Lakshmi on his Instagram, affectionately referring to her as ‘ammalu’ while they both wore matching black outfits. One image captures him embracing her, while the other features her smiling brightly as she holds onto his arm. In his post, the actor expressed, “Ammalu… Happy Birthday…(heart emoji)”

Fans were enamored by their charm, flooding the post with heart eyes and heart emojis. One admirer remarked, “Love these pictures. Together always (evil eye emoji),” while another playfully inquired, “Are they dating each other?” An Instagram user expressed, “Ammalu >>>>,” and another added, “Ammalu is being so cute.” One fan even referred to them as the ‘most adorable pair,’ with others extending their best wishes for their ‘vadinamma’ (sister-in-law) in the comments.

Jr NTR and Lakshmi tied the knot in 2011 and are parents to two sons, Abhay Ram and Bhargav Ram, born in 2014 and 2018, respectively. The actor tends to share fewer family photos on social media, preferring to focus on his professional endeavors.

Devara: Part 1 to release in Japan

Koratala Siva's film, Devara: Part 1, featuring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, is set to debut in Japan on March 28. Earlier this week, a premiere event took place for fans, during which the actor joyfully danced alongside a lookalike. Sharing a video from the premiere on Instagram, Jr NTR expressed his excitement, stating, "Overwhelmed, Japan! I eagerly anticipate the Japanese audience experiencing #Devara in theaters starting March 28th."

He is presently filming for Ayan Mukherji’s War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan, which will be his first appearance in Bollywood. Additionally, he is involved in a project with Prashanth Neel, which is expected to be released during Sankranthi 2026, although it has not yet been titled.
