Kannada actors Vasishta N Simha and Hariprriya had double the reason to celebrate on January 26, 2025, as they marked their second wedding anniversary by welcoming their first child, a baby boy. Sharing the joyful news on social media, Vasishta wrote, “And thus he arrived on our wedding day.”

The couple had collaborated on the Kannada remake of Evaru, titled Yadha Yadha Hi, after which they publicly announced their relationship and plans to marry. While it was initially believed that they met on the film’s set, it was later revealed that they had known each other for some time and had successfully kept their relationship private.

Vasishta and Hariprriya tied the knot on January 26, 2023, and announced their pregnancy during a babymoon trip to the Maldives in early November. A few weeks ago, they celebrated with a traditional seemantha ceremony, attended by their close friends and family.

Vasishta, who remained busy with his acting commitments during most of the pregnancy, plans to take a couple of months off to embrace his new role as a hands-on dad.

Hariprriya, an actress active since 2008, stepped away from professional commitments following the release of Yadha Yadha Hi. Meanwhile, Vasishta, last seen in the Kannada film Love Li, has been occupied with several projects in Telugu cinema.
