Spanish actor Jose de la Torre passed away on December 5, according to a report from Montilla Digital. His funeral was held the following day, December 6. He battled a mysterious illness, which hasn’t been disclosed, as Torre was known for being very private. The illness was identified a few months ago in June, and after that, he stepped back from the public eye. His final Instagram post was on June 3, where he was seen enjoying a music festival in the Canary Islands.
Celebrities pay tribute to Jose de la Torre.
Spanish actress and singer Lolita Flores, along with Luisa Martin, expressed their sympathies to Torre's family.
Lolita wrote, “It’s so tough for me to come to terms with your absence, even though we never met… Life can be so cruel. You were beautiful inside and out.”
Luisa added, “It hurts to know I won’t hear your voice anymore, but I’ll keep chatting with you. Love you forever, José.”
