Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have candidly shared their experiences of being quite mischievous on the set of their 1995 film, Karan Arjun. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the production was marked by numerous pranks orchestrated by the duo, much to the dismay of the crew. However, none was as 'cruel' as the incident where Salman pretended to shoot Shah Rukh during a staged 'argument.'

When Salman Khan shot Shah Rukh Khan

During a recent interview with Galatta, Johnny Lever, their co-star, recounted a moment when the crew believed Salman had actually harmed Shah Rukh. "While filming Karan Arjun in Jaipur, we would often celebrate after our shooting sessions. We enjoyed drinks, dancing, and having fun. Salman frequently teased Shah Rukh on set, calling him a star and poking fun at his dancing. We were concerned that Shah Rukh might take it too seriously," the comedian explained, providing context for the prank.

He continued, "One night at the party, a sudden altercation broke out between them. I mimicked Salman drawing a gun and firing at Shah Rukh. To our astonishment, Shah Rukh fell to the ground. We were all taken aback; Honey Irani gasped, nearly having a panic attack. But it turned out to be a joke. It was quite the prank. Eventually, Shah Rukh Khan got up, and they both burst into laughter."

Salman later recounted this prank during his appearance on Aap Ki Adalat. “I suggested to Shah Rukh that I would invite him to dance, he would decline, and then we would pretend to fight. I had a blank gun, and I would fire it at him, causing him to fall. My brother Sohail was present. I grabbed Shah Rukh’s hand, he pulled away, and we began to push each other, leading to a scuffle. I then drew the gun and fired, and Shah Rukh performed a somersault and fell down,” Salman recalled.
