Actor Jessie Cave, renowned for her portrayal of Ron Weasley's girlfriend, Lavender Brown, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, has recently become a member of OnlyFans, the adult content platform. During an episode of her podcast, Before We Break Up, she disclosed her decision to join OnlyFans, emphasizing that the content she will provide will not be of a sexual nature.

Over the weekend, Jessie Cave announced via her social media accounts that she would be joining OnlyFans, a platform recognized for its subscription-based adult content. In an Instagram video, she mentioned that she intends to provide subscribers with “the best quality hair sounds” and “very sensual content.” Although OnlyFans is often associated with sexual material, creators are permitted to share a variety of content. Jessie Cave clarified that her offerings will not be of a sexual nature, stating, “It’s a fetish. Fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual.”

On her self-titled Substack, the actress elaborated on her choice to join OnlyFans. She expressed, “One year. I’ll try for one year. My aim? To secure the house, address the arsenic/lead wallpaper, construct a new roof, and so forth. My aim? To eliminate my debt. My aim? To empower myself? To demonstrate to those who have misjudged me in the past that I am not merely sweet? To dedicate time to something I have previously neglected: self-love.”

Initially, Cave studied stage management at RADA but subsequently applied to a drama school. Just as she was preparing to attend The Oxford School of Drama, she secured the role of Lavender Brown in Harry Potter. Jessie triumphed over more than 7,000 other candidates to land this part in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, where her character was paired with Rupert Grint's Ron Weasley. She reprised this role in the final two installments of the Harry Potter series. Since that time, Jessie has taken on minor episodic roles in several British television shows.
