Actor Jennifer Lawrence has allegedly given birth to her second child with her husband, art gallery director Cooke Maroney. The couple also shares a three-year-old son named Cy.

Jennifer Lawrence welcomes second child

According to reports from PEOPLE, Jennifer and Cooke were seen taking a stroll in New York City on Monday, shortly after welcoming their newborn. Information regarding the baby remains undisclosed. The couple exchanged vows at the renowned Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island in October 2019.

Jennifer announced her pregnancy last year

In October of the previous year, Jennifer revealed to Vogue that she was expecting her second child. Vogue announced on Instagram, "Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lawrence! The Oscar-winning actress is set to welcome her second baby with her husband, art gallerist Cooke Maroney." 

Subsequently, a source confirmed the news to PEOPLE, stating, "She enjoys motherhood immensely. She is excited to be pregnant again, feeling that the timing is just right. Her son will be three when the new baby arrives." Additionally, she was seen outdoors wearing an oversized button-up shirt and loose-fitting trousers while having lunch with Cooke.

When Jennifer spoke about her personal life

In a lighthearted moment during a 2022 Vogue cover interview, Jennifer humorously likened her son to a "voodoo doll." She expressed, "The joy that Cy brings is just—oh my goodness, it’s beyond words. I always tell him, 'I love you so much.'"

In 2021, Jennifer made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. When the host inquired about her activities during her extended break, she responded with a laugh, “I just had a ton of sex,” while affectionately touching her baby bump. As Colbert reacted with, “Good for you,” Jennifer quickly clarified, “I am joking.” She continued, “I did some cooking. The pandemic hit, and I ended up cooking and cleaning quite a bit.”
