Actor Jennifer Aniston's previous encounters with handling infidelity rumours during her marriage to actor Brad Pitt have led her to refute claims of a clandestine relationship with former US President Barack Obama.

Recently, there have been speculations regarding a clandestine romance between Jennifer, 55, and the former president, 63, amid assertions of tensions in Barack's marriage to Michelle Obama, 61.

As reported by RadarOnline, a source indicates that Jennifer's previous experiences with infidelity rumors during her marriage to Brad have shaped her reaction to the allegations concerning the Obama relationship.

Having faced significant media attention during her high-profile marriage, Jennifer is resolute in her efforts to prevent further speculation. Consequently, she has taken decisive measures to clarify the situation.

A source remarked, “Jen considered having her representatives either refrain from commenting or issue a 'no comment', but she believed that would only exacerbate the situation. She opted to address the matter directly before it escalated further."

The insider noted that Jennifer has often disregarded various relationship rumors throughout her career. However, this instance felt different, as she was concerned that the increasing chatter might distress Michelle.

“She hardly knows Obama, much less is involved with him romantically. She expressed to friends that after years in the public eye, this is the most peculiar rumor she has encountered about herself. She genuinely cannot comprehend how such stories emerge from thin air. More than feeling worried, she is completely perplexed. Nevertheless, Jen is concerned for Michelle because she has seen reports about the Obamas' marriage facing difficulties, and she understands what it is like to be at the center of such narratives," the source added.

Jennifer and Brad concluded their marriage in 2005 after Brad's meeting with Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It is widely believed that Brad Pitt and Angelina's relationship began while he was still married to Jennifer.
