Billboard just dropped its weekly top 100, and 'Like Jennie' is sitting at number 96. It kicked off at number 83 when it first came out in March. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, it's climbed to 4th place, and it's at 6th on the Global 200 after six weeks.

After her set, hashtags like #JennieRunsCoachella and #Jenchella started trending worldwide, with social media buzzing with clips and reels from her performance. In Weekend 2, she also performed tracks like Solo, Mantra, and Zen. During her emotional rendition of Starlight, where she sang, 'I just wanna make my mama prouder,' Jennie took a moment to express her feelings, saying 'Eomma Saranghae' to the audience, which means 'Mom, I love you' in Korean, as her mom watched on. Recently, Jennie grabbed attention again with the teaser for Like Jennie, which some Indian fans thought resembled the theme song from Alia Bhatt’s character in Karan Johar’s 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Social media exploded with comparison videos, and while some accused her of copying Pritam’s song, the Indian composer stepped up to defend Jennie.
