Actor Jayam Ravi will be next seen in Brother, which is due to release on October 31. The family entertainer is written and directed by Rajesh M and marks his first collaboration with the actor. Ahead of the release, Jayam Ravi has been promoting the film and revealed that there might be possibilities of him collaborating with Vetrimaaran.

Jayam Ravi and Vetrimaaran in talks?

Jayam Ravi, who was last seen in Siren this year, is gearing up for the release of Brother. While promoting the film, the actor in one of the interviews, opened up about the possibilities of collaborating with Vetrimaaran.

Speaking about this, Jayam Ravi said that it is a bad habit that he does not initiate talks with good filmmakers to do a film together. "I will internally wish for it, and appreciate the film. But I don't ask if we can work together. But now I am changing it." When asked about one such director he wishes to team up with, Jayam Ravi said it would be Vetrimaaran. "I gathered my courage and expressed my interest to work with him on a film. He also had a line-up of films to complete and said that after that we can do a film together. I will be hearing a story of his soon,” the actor said.

Jayam Ravi’s Brother on OTT

Brother is slated for a release on October 31. The film is directed by Rajesh. The cast comprises Priyanka Arul Mohan, Bhumika Chawla, VTV Ganesh, Natraj Subramanian, Rao Ramesh, Achyuth Kumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Seetha, Sathish Krishnan, MS Bhaskar, Suresh Chakravarthy, Vriddhi Visha, and Master Ashwin in prominent roles.

The post-theatrical streaming rights of Brother have been bagged by ZEE5, and will also be available on OTTplay Premium. Once the film finishes the theatrical run, the film will be made available on the platform. The film is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, with Harris Jayaraj scoring the music for the film. The makers recently announced that the dubbing for the film has been completed and the post-production phase is in full swing. It is shot by cinematographer Vivekanand Santhosam and edited by Ashish Joseph.
