In a remarkable tribute to Aamir Khan's extraordinary influence on Indian cinema, PVR INOX has announced a special film festival entitled Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar. This distinctive event, honouring the superstar's cinematic journey, is scheduled to commence on March 14, coinciding with Aamir Khan's birthday, and will continue until March 27. The festival provides fans with the opportunity to revisit some of Aamir's most memorable performances, highlighting the impressive evolution of his career on the silver screen.

The official launch of the festival occurred during a press conference in Mumbai, where Aamir Khan was accompanied by the esteemed lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar, as well as PVR founder Ajay Bijli. Together, they unveiled the festival's trailer, generating excitement among fans and film aficionados. The trio also participated in a thought-provoking discussion, reflecting on Aamir Khan’s enduring legacy and the profound impact he has made on Indian cinema.

During the press conference, Javed Akhtar recounted a personal story about Aamir Khan, reminiscing about their initial meeting. "Aamir starred in the first film I wrote. I was penning the film Faryaaz in Panchgani for Nassir Hussain. Upon seeing Aamir, I immediately informed Nassir that he was a star and should begin with a romantic film," Javed shared. He further emphasized the special bond they share, noting that Aamir’s debut film was produced and written by him and that his son Farhan Akhtar’s first film also featured Aamir, reinforcing their connection.

The Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar festival will take place in PVR INOX theatres across the country, providing a unique opportunity to experience Aamir Khan’s cinematic achievements on the big screen.
